It's Official

It's finally official - I have a Facebook page for my cosplays! Some of my cosplayer and photographer friends in Hong Kong said that opening a page would be a good experience, and since I have so much free time cooped up in my room in Canada, I made one 
I'll still be submitting stuff here on my DeviantArt, but I'll probably post some updates and cosplay WIPs there too.
I'd appreciate it so much if you guys would go and check it out - please give it a like if you want to stay updated! I'll be holding some giveaway events once I return to Hong Kong in the summer and if I get enough likes ^_^ Currently still thinking of themes for the giveaways, if you have any ideas (related to cosplay of course) or things that you'd like then feel free to comment below or message me, I'll definitely read them all.
DeviantArt has been the home for my art for many years now, and I'm really grateful for all the support that I got on here. Hopefully you guys will continue to support me on my Facebook page too! I will keep trying my best to improve and I'm always open to constructive criticism especially about wig styling and posing (two of my cosplay weaknesses). After all, cosplaying is about having fun and expressing yourself through characters that inspire you, so I hope you'll enjoy looking through my photos.

University!

So I'm about to start my 3rd week of university, and I've already gotten sick twice T^T
I think I've settled in pretty well so far, but I don't live on campus so it's harder to meet people. I don't have many friends yet but I hope that will change soon~
My classes aren't too hard at the moment, but there are a ton of assignments due in soon so I have to work at least a bit everyday ><
I wasn't able to bring any of my cosplay stuff over to Toronto so I'll only be posting old photos for the moment 
Luckily I brought my DSLR camera so maybe there will be photos of other things too!

It really depends on when I fly back to Hong Kong because the cosplay events are going to happen right after I fly back. If I can make them though, expect to see pics of Hatsune Miku's Sandplay Singing of the Dragon, Bacterial Contamination, (hopefully) Matsuoka Gou from FREE! and Asahina Ema from BroCon.

The Return of the King

Maybe not a "king" as such, but I am baaack!
I don't know why I've been neglecting my dA for so long, but finally I'll be uploading more deviations from time to time.
Sadly I don't have much time to do digital art anymore, but please look forward to pictures of my cosplays as well as drawings and paintings that may come

that kind of inspired me to get back on dA.

To all of my loyal watchers, I apologise for not posting anything up in a long time! I promise I will as soon as my mock exams are over (in 2 weeks). I may be able to do a few small deviations but we'll have to see about that.
Yesterday (27th) was my school fair
Bad thing is that it was pretty crap and boring...
Then I went out to buy colour contacts (blue and light brown) which look totally awesome!
Also a note: I do point commissions now.
I'll officially start doing them once exams are over. There will be 3 available spaces each time so if you want to sign up, please do so now!! Leave me a comment and the first 3 people will get the spot.
Prices
Bases: Link me with the base
1 character - 2 points + llama
2 characters - 4 points + llama
Add 1 point for each next character so
3 characters - 5 points + llama
4 characters - 6 points + llama etc.
All commissions will come with either no background or a single colour BG
Simple background (e.g. trees, sky) - Add 1 point
More detailed background (e.g. buildings, abstract) - Add 3 points
Chibi - 1 point + llama
Original drawings: These cost more because I have to hand draw them, scan them and then draw.

Thanks to everyone who participated!!
Last week was my half term, and I went to Singapore for holiday. It was fun, but the heat was almost stifling and things were quite expensive. I didn't really take any dA-worthy pics XP
I got a HAIR CUT so I'll submit a pic of it later
Next week it will be my CAS (creative, action, service) week at school which means I will be going on some sort of camp/trip. I might not be able to update or submit anything then :S
As for
, I have done around 2/3 of the Magnet assignment - it turned out to be hard because I was distracted by all the new fall anime series and school and... I KNOW I SHOULD STOP MAKING EXCUSES, I WAS PROCRASTINATING
Hopefully THAT will be up soon.
I animated a mini-video of Kanae singing "World is Mine" (just the introduction) and I will put a link to that soon ^w^ It took me a REALLY long time to pixel each syllable, put them together and get Kanae to sing along.
There isn't much art to work on right now, so I'm going to start a new project once my CAS week is over. The theme this time is a Rie version of Just Be Friends (JBF) originally sung by Megurine Luka. I love that song
and the art is also really pretty :3 It won't be too big, since I also have mock exams coming up D':
